Abstract: Vinasse merupakan hasil sampingan dari industry etanol yang banyak mengandung bahan organik. Penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh vinasse yang telah difermantasi sebagai pembenah tanah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai macam dosis vinasse terhadap karakteristik kimia tanah yaitu Nitrogen, Phosfor, Kalium, Bahan Organik, pH dan EC (ElectricalConductivity) dan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai macam dosis vinasse pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai (Glycine max L (Merr)).Penelitian ini diaplikasikan pada lahan dengan lima dosis yang berbeda (0 m³ ha-1, 20 m³ ha-1, 40 m³ ha-1, 60 m³ ha-1, 80 m³ ha-1) dan dilakukan berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan lima pengulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan dosis pembenah tanah vinasse berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap EC (Electrical Conductivity), Nitrogen, P tersedia, Kalium, berat biji/tanaman, berat biji/petaknetto, berat 100 biji dan berat biji/ha. Dosis pembenah tanah vinasse yang optimal terhadap karakteristik kimia tanah adalah 60 m³ ha-1 sampai80 m³ ha-1 dan dosis pembenah tanah vinasse yang optimal terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai 40 m³ ha-1sampai 60 m³ ha-1.
Vinasse is byproduct generated from ethanol industry which rich organic matter. This study on testing the effect of vinasse as soil amelioration after treated with fermentation.This study purposes were to analyze the effec of vinasse as soil improver to chemical soil that is nitrogene, phosphorus, potassium, C-organic, pH, Electrical Conductivity and analyze the effect of vinasse as soybean growth and yield. Field experiment was conducted with five different doses of vinasse application as soil improver (0 m³ ha-1, 20 m³ ha-1, 40 m³ ha-1, 60 m³ ha-1, 80 m³ ha-1) and established in a randomized complete block dessign with five replications. The obtained dta revealed that the application of vinasse as soil improver had significant differences to ElectricalConductivity, nitrogene, potassium, phosphorus, yield per plant, yield per netto plot, the weight of 100 seeds and yield per hectare. Optimized dose range of vinasse application as soil improver according to chemical soil found between 60 – 80 m³ ha-1and optimized dose range of vinasse application as soil improver according tosoybean growth and yield found between 40 – 60 m³ ha-1.
