Abstract: Uji adaptasi beberapa genotip gandum (Triticum aestivum L.) di dataran menengah (dengan ketinggian 700 m d.p.l) dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 4 Agustus 2013 sampai tanggal 10 November 2013 di dusun Gunung Sari, kelurahan Sidorejo Kidul, kota Salatiga, provinsi Jawa Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa genotip gandum di dataran menengah dan mengetahui genotip gandum yang mampu berproduksi lebih tinggi antar genotip di dataran menengah. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan dari hasil pengamatan penelitian ini dilakukan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Penelitian ini menggunakan 17 perlakuan (13 galur gandum dan empat varietas gandum). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tinggi tanaman gandum genotip M1 lebih pendek secara nyata dibandingkan M3, M5, M7, M8, M9, SO3, dan varietas Dewata, jumlah anakan genotip M4 dan M7 lebih sedikit secara nyata dibandingkan genotip M9 dan varietas Selayar, umur panen genotip M7 lebih pendek secara nyata dibandingkan genotip Dewata, jumlah benih per malai genotip M3 lebih sedikit secara nyata dibandingkan genotip M6, M9, SO3, SO9, varietas Jarissa dan Dewata, jumlah benih per rumpun genotip M4 lebih sedikit secara nyata dibandingkan M6. Umur berbunga, jumlah malai, panjang malai, bobot benih per rumpum, bobot 1000 benih, bobot 1 liter benih, dan bobot benih per petak tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata antar genotip tanaman gandum. Berdasarkan komponen hasil, disimpulkan bahwa belum ada genotip gandum yang mampu berproduksi lebih tinggi diantara genotip yang dicobakan di dataran menengah (dengan ketinggian 700 m d.p.l) di dusun Gunung Sari, kelurahan Sidorejo Kidul, kota Salatiga, provinsi Jawa Tengah.
Adaptation test of some genotypes of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) was carried out at medium land (altitude of 700 meters above sea level), from August 4, 2013 until November 10, 2013 at the Gunung Sari village, Sidorejo Kidul sub district, Salatiga regency, Central Java province. The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the growth and yield of some genotypes of wheat, and (2) to know which genotypes of wheat that could produce high yield at medium land. To know the significant difference of the main observation data was used analysis of variance test (ANOVA) and honestly significant different (HSD) test at 95% significant level. The study had 17 treatments (13 lines and four varieties of wheat). Each treatment was repeated three times. The results showed that plant height of M1 was shorter than M3, M5, M7, M8, M9, SO3, and Dewata variety, number of tillering of M4 and M7 was lesser than M9 and Selayar variety, harvesting time of M7 was shorter than Dewata, seed number per panicles of M3 was lesser than M6, M9, SO3, SO9, Jarissa variety and Dewata, seed number per clump of M4 was lesser than M6. Flowering time, number of panicles, panicle length, seed weight per clump, 1000 seeds weight, the weight of one liter seeds, and seed weight per plot did not show significant difference between genotype. Based on the yield components could be concluded that there was no genotype capable in producing higher one other at medium land (at an altitude of 700 m above sea level) at Gunung Sari village, Sidorejo Kidul sub district, Salatiga regency, Central Java province.
