Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengevaluasi konteks penyelenggaraan program prakerin di SMK N 3 Salatiga, 2) Mengevaluasi input penyelenggaraan program prakerin di SMK N 3 Salatiga, 3) Mengevaluasi proses dan menemukan faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penyelenggaraan program prakerin di SMK N 3 Salatiga, 4)Mengevaluasi produk, manfaat, dampak, serta keberlanjutan penyelenggaraan program prakerin di SMK N 3 Salatiga. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan model CIPP. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Validasi data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data dengan proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, varifikasi yang disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian, aspek konteks: visi dan misi telah dijabarkan dalam perumusan kompetensi lulusan, tujuan belum sepenuhnya tercapai, kurikulum telah disinkronkan dengan kebutuhan pasar dengan melibatkan DU/DI. Aspek input: Strategi pelaksanaan, prosedur penempatan, penjadwalan dan pengelolaan anggaran telah dilaksanakan sesuai prosedur, komunikasi dengan DU/DI ditingkatkan. Aspek proses: pelaksanaan telah sesuai prosedur hanya monitoring lebih diintensifkan. Aspek produk: hasil capaian baik, prakerin bermanfaat bagi siswa, sekolah, dan DU/DI, dampak prakerin belum signifikan bagi keterserapan lulusan, kerjasama dengan DU/DI perlu ditingkatkan. SMK N 3 Salatiga belum melaksanakan evaluasi program prakerin secara menyeluruh.
The purpose of this study was evaluate: (1) Evaluate the context of the implementation of prakerin program at SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga, (2) Evaluate the input of the implementation of prakerin program at SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga, (3) Evaluate the process and find the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of prakerin program at SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga, (4) Evaluate the product, benefits, impact, and sustainability of prakerin program at SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga. This research is an evaluation research with CIPP model. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and document studies. Validation of data is done by triangulation of source and triangulation technique. Data analysis technique with data collection process, data reduction, data presentation, verification presented in descriptive qualitative. The of the results of the research, the context aspect: vision and mission have been elaborated in the formulation of graduate copetency, the objective have not been fully achieved, the curiculum has been synchrinized with market needs by involving DU/DI. Input aspect: Implementation strategy, placement procedure, scedulling and budget management have been implemented according to procedure, communication with DU/DI improved. Aspect: of the process: the implementation of the corresponding procedures only more intensified monitoring. Product aspect: good outcomes, prakerin beneficial for students, schools, and DU/DI, the impact of prakerin is not significant for graduates absorption, cooperation with DU/DI needs to be improved. SMKN 3 Salatiga has not conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the prakerin program.
