Abstract: The number of Women Farmers Group (KWT) formed thereon and sank on its way. To find the phenomenon in this study emphasizes the Women Farmers Group institutional agricultural processing. By digging through the internal organizational characteristics KWT in Sidorejo Kidul village, sub-district and village Tingkir Noborejo, Argomulyo District, Salatiga City, as well as observing the external side of the institutional environment in the processing of agricultural products into the background KWT to exist, at least it can answer the phenomena. KWT character agro food processing business mostly by individuals of each member of the group has not performed together in a joint effort in groups. KWT members not only from pure peasant women but also mothers another profession. Increase or decrease the number of members depends on whether the fulfillment of the interests of members when the members of the group. KWT organizations that have a simple organizational structure is likely to have the nature of a simple, unique and flexible. Systems that exist in the organization KWT agricultural processing cycle is realized with the input - process - output through agro-processing enterprises are influenced by the environment, including the potential of the region, and cooperation among human resources surrounding KWT. The role of chairman and managers to actualize KWT plays a very important entrepreneurial spirit supported by every member of the organization contributed to the capital drive. KWT processing of agricultural products in the region Noborejo Village, District Argomulyo have a system that is still weak in developing this organization has not been established because the entrepreneurial spirit as well as the educational background and experience have contributed to the lack of disincentives to explore the potential that exists. Level of reliability because the system has not seen a wellestablished organization that young age so that the organization is still in the process of adjustment to the institutionalization of the organization. KWT processing of agricultural products in the region Sidorejo Kidul village has a system that is more established than in Sub Noborejo KWT this is due to the age old enough organization so that the organization has been institutionalized by itself. In support of potential characteristics of the region, human resources peasant women support each other and strengthen cooperation co- existence of the group. KWT institutional strengthening support given by various parties is a good opportunity that can be exploited by the KWT. By digging external institutional agricultural processing KWT known that organizational characteristics KWT processing of agricultural products is strongly influenced by the institutional environment in agricultural processing. Characteristics of the types of organization which consists of farm / business, members, structure, systems and greatly influenced actors institutional environment among other values that exist in the community, cooperation with others, relationships with institutional / other organizations as well as the institutional political system as a decision maker public level.
