Title: Hubungan Gaya Kognitif dan Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Prestasi Belajar Fisika Peserta Didik IPA di SMA Kristen Barana Rantepao Toraja Utara

Abstract: Jenis penelitian korelasional ini bertujuan mengetahui signifikansi hubungan gaya kognitif dan kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar fisika pada siswa SMA Kr Barana sebanyak 135 orang peserta didik jurusan IPA yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini mengunakan The Embedded Figure Test untuk mengukur gaya kognitif dan BarOn Inventory untuk mengungkap kecerdasan emosional dan analisisnya menggunakan uji korelasional Rank Spearman. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan antara gaya kognitif dengan prestasi belajar fisika rxy = 0,257 dengan p = 0,003<0,05 dan tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar fisika peserta didik IPA di SMA Kr Barana Rantepao Toraja Utara dengan nilai rxy = 0,053 dengan p = 0,541>0,05.
This correlate research aim is to know the significance of cognitive style and emotional intelligence to the achievment of 135 high school students in physic subject who involved in this research. Data collection on this research use The Embedded Figure Test to cognitive style and BaeOn Inventory to measure emotional Intelligence and the analysis use spearman Rank‟s correlate. The conclusion of this research shows that there is a significance correlation between cognitive style to the achievment of physic subject rxy = 0,257 with p = 0,003<0,05, while there is no correlation between emosional intteligence to the achievment of physic subject rxy = 0,053 dengan p = 0,541>0,05 in SMA Kr Barana Rantepao Toraja Utara.
The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the level of achievement of self-development in SMP Negeri I Kebumen, (2) the sustainability prospects of selfdevelopment program at SMP Negeri I Kebumen. Data collection techniques used were interviews, focus group discussions and document analysis. Test the validity of the data used is the technique of triangulation. The results showed that (1) Self-development in SMP Negeri I Kebumen form of counseling conducted by counselors, and extracurricular activities fostered by the subject teachers and other educational personnel in accordance with its capabilities. (2) This program is worth continuing. But the need to improve the preparation of self-development is more attentive to the needs of students.
