|Abstract:||The purpose of this study isto determine the antibacterial activity of the leaf extract of waru lengis (H.tiliaceus L.), to determine the stability of the foam shampoo leaf extract of waru lengis (H.tiliaceus L.), at various concentrations, determine levels leaf extract of waru lengis (H.tiliaceus L.), right inshampoo formulations, andcompare the results shampoo with SNI06-2692-1992. Antibacterial activity test carried out on bacteria Bacillus subtilis (ATCC 6051) andEscherichia coli (ATCC 0091IFO), Sampo foam stability was tested andcomparedwith SNI 06-2692-1992. Antibacterial activity and foamstability were analyzed by Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with 8treatments and 4 replications, to compare the average diameter of the inhibition and foamstabilityamong various concentrations used Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) with a significance level of 5%. Antibacterial activity of the leafextract of waru lengis (H.tiliaceus L.) against B.subtilis (ATCC 6051) classified as being at a concentration of 5-10% at concentrations of 12.5 to 20% and showed a strong effect. While the E.coli (ATCC 0091IFO) classified as being at a concentration of 5-20%. Average foamstability is highest at a concentration of 12.5% (96.65 ± 1.89). leaf extract of waru lengis (H.tiliaceus L.) right inthe shampoo formulation at a concentration of 12.5%. Shampoo leaf extract of waru lengis (H.tiliaceus L.) are designed to meet SNI 06-2692-1992.|
