Abstract: This study aims to (1) determine how Ceto temple area management system, (2) determine what kind of local wisdom that is used to support the management of Ceto temple area attractions, and (3) inding of attractions management model temple area based on local wisdom. To achieve this goal done by using institutional and exploratory approach. Related to this, the research carried out by using the method of opinion survey, in-dept interview, participant observation, document analysis and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The analysis technique used is Waving the Red Flag. The results are as follows: (1) Ceto temple tourist area management involves several related agencies, such as the Heritage Preservation Board (BPCB) Central Java Province, with oices in Prambanan (Klaten) , Department of Touism Central Java Province, Department of Tourism, Arts and Karanganyar culture, Ngudi Lestai Forest village Community Institution, as well as Ceto Hamlet Community, Gumeng village, (2) Management of Ceto temple area in general has not been associated with the synergy between the public agencies. (3) Local wisdom is an embryo develop the area in order to maintain continuity Ceto. (4) Each temple tourist area managers need to unite the ideas, work together in a more professional management of container through the empowerment of tourism awareness.
