Abstract

Kasoos an abbreviation of Kampung Scooter Owner Salatiga. Kasoos freeing members to modify as desired Vespa owner, whether it wants to join the two body Vespa or modified in the extreme or so-called Vespa beggars among Vespa community. This study aims to describe the interaction of symbolic communication in Kasoos Vespa Community in Salatiga.This approach of research is descriptive and an constructive research with qualitative type. This research data collection using direct observation and interviews. In-depth interviews conducted to Bayu Prasetyo Budi Vespa Kasoos as Chairman of Kasoos Vespa Community, Herdian Password as Vice Chairman of Kasoos Vespa Community and Adhi Nugraha as member of Kasoos Vespa Community.Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the symbol has an important role in building symbolic communication interaction of Kasoos Vespa Community. In this process an exchange of messages that basically consists of specific symbols to members of Kasoos Vespa Community in the process of communicating. Communication patterns circle model is a characteristic pattern of Kasoos Vespa Community communication. Solidarity is an important tool in communication patterns Kasoos Vespa Community.Through the symbol Kasoos Vespa Community, researchers can understand how symbolic communication interaction in Kasoos Vespa Community. The essential meaning will be reflected through a pattern of symbolic communication between community members of Kasoos Vespa Community. Meaning of symbols referring to the language of symbol.
