Abstract: This study aims to explore the culture of the organization in the Department of On Air Promotion PT Surya Citra Televisi, which was formed and displayed through the interaction of members organization. Observations researchers, especially to the the existing organizational culture in SCTV, especially in the department of On Air Promotion, because it has a different organizational culture with private television media in general. SCTV organizational culture created during the 20 years could walk follow the wishes of the company.This study uses indicators triggered by Pacanowsky and O'Donnell-Trujillo (in Littlejohn & Foss, 2005: 259-260): ritual, passion, sociality, political organizations and enculturation, which become a benchmark culture that goes within an organization. This type of research is descriptive and an explanatory research with qualitative approach. This research data collection using direct observation and interviews.Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the On Air Promotion Department SCTV, communication takes place in conditions of formal (structural) and informally, however based on observations of researchers, employees of On Air Promotion Department SCTV usually more frequent use of informal forms of communication. Based on the results of the study, the organizational culture of the Department of On Air Promotion On SCTV formed through communication performances as: 1) Ritual Performance: divided into personal rituals ritual duties, social rites and rituals of the organization; 2) DesirePerformance: usually done through sharing and gathering; 3) Sociality Performance: the principle of equality and respect for fellow employees is one of the principles of social standards of conduct in the performance of organizational culture in SCTV; 4) Political Performance: based on the recognition of individual personal competence that aims to keep the commitment of the vision and mission of SCTV; 5) Enculturation Performance: usually formed through listening to senior experience, observing the performance of senior and training program
