Hubungan antara Adversity Quotient dengan Stres Akademik dalam Mengerjakan Skripsi pada Mahasiswa Psikologi UKSW

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara adversity quotient dengan stres akademik dalam mengerjakan skripsi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 50 mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi yang ditentukan menggunakan metode incidental purposive sampling. Adversity quotient diukur dengan menggunakan skala Adversity Response Profile (ARP), sedangkan stres akademik diukur dengan menggunakan skala Student Academic Stress Scale (SASS). Data dianalisa menggunakan uji korelasi product moment (Pearson) dan hasilnya menunjukkan tidak ada korelasi antara adversity quotient dan stres akademik dalam mengerjakan skripsi karena r = 0,103 dan nilai signifikan 0,238 (p > 0,05).

The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a significant negative correlation between adversity quotient and academic stress level college students on doing the thesis. The subjects of this study were 50 college students in Faculty of Psychology Satya Wacana Christian University, who are doing the thesis. The subjects were selected using incidental purposive sampling method. Adversity quotient was measured by Adversity Response Profile (ARP) scale, while academic stress level was measured by Student Academic Stress Scale (SASS). The data was analyzed using product moment correlation test and the results showed that adversity quotient and academic stress has a not correlation (r = 0.103 and significant value of 0.238 ( p > 0.05 ).
