Hubungan Rasa Bersyukur (Gratitude) dengan Emosi Positif pada Mahasiswa Skripsi di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya korelasi antara rasa bersyukur (gratitude) dengan emosi positif pada mahasiswa skripsi Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Hipotesis penelitian ini diduga ada hubungan bahwa rasa bersyukur (gratitude) membentuk emosi positif dalam diri mahasiswa skripsi. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 50 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana yang sedang menjalani proses penyusunan skripsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan uji korelasi Pearson untuk melakukan perhitungan korelasi rasa bersyukur dengan emosi positif. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai korelasi Pearson sebesar 0,186 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,099 (p > 0,05). Kesimpulan sebagai hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah tidak ada hubungan rasa bersyukur (gratitude) membentuk emosi positif dalam diri mahasiswa skripsi.

This study aimed to investigate the correlation between gratitude and positive emotions to the students of the Faculty of Psychology Satya Wacana Christian University undergoing the process of the thesis. The hypothesis of this study is suspected there is a relationship that gratitude to form positive emotions within the student undergoing the process of the thesis. Participants of this study were 50 students of the Faculty of Psychology Satya Wacana Christian University who are undergoing the process of preparation of the thesis. This study uses a quantitative method with Pearson correlation test to perform correlation calculations of gratitude with positive emotions. From the calculation of Pearson correlation we had result values of 0.186 and a significance of 0.099 (p > 0.05). Conclusions as the end result of this research, there is no correlation of gratitude to form positive emotions within the student who are undergoing the thesis.
