Peran Pendeta sebagai Konselor Pastoral di Tengah Kekerasan Pasangan Suami-Isteri di GPM Jemaat Airmanis dari Perspektif Sosio Pastoral

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran pendeta sebagai konselor pastoral di tengah kekerasan pasangan suami-isteri dari perspektif sosio pastoral. Penelitian dimotivasi oleh fakta masalah yang saat ini berkembang di masyarakat, yakni kekerasan pasangan suami–isteri (khususnya perempuan) yang dilakukan oleh orang terdekat dalam keluarga (suami). Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif. Wawancara, dan observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Melalui hasil penelitian, ada lima temuan berkaitan dengan peran pendeta sebagai konselor pastoral terhadap masalah kekerasan pasangan suami-isteri, yaitu peran pendeta terhadap masalah ekonomi, perselingkuhan, tingkat pendidikan, lingkungan sosial (relasi), dan psikologis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi kepada Gereja Protestan Maluku (GPM), Pendeta, dan Keluarga-keluarga yang mengalami kekerasan pasangan suami-isteri, dan merekomendasikan penelitian lanjutan tentang model konseling pastoral terhadap kekerasan pasangan suami-isteri dalam keluarga.

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the minister as a pastoral counselor in the middle of the violence the couple from the perspective of socio-pastoral. The research is motivated by the fact that the current growing problem in society, namely the couple violence (especially women) are made by those closest in the family (husband). This research applies descriptive method research analytical approach is qualitative. Interviews, and observations are used to collect data. Through the research, there are five findings with regard to the role of the minister as a pastoral counselor to the problem of violence the couple, namely the role of pastor of the economic problems, infidelity, levels of education, social environment (relationship), and psychological. Research contributes to the Maluku Protestant Church (GPM), Pastor, and families who have experienced violence the couple, and recommends further research on the model of pastoral counseling to violent husband and wife in the family.
