Abstract: | Berdasarkan hasil wawancara peneliti di SMAN 1 Pabelan, model pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru dalam menyampaikan materi masih menggunakan ceramah dan media yang digunakan berupa buku paket. Mengetahui kondisi kemampuan siswa yang berbeda-beda, ada beberapa siswa yang kurang bisa menangkap tujuan pembelajaran dengan baik. Perhatian siswa dalam pemahaman membaca terutama untuk cerita narrative teks story telling kurang. Hal ini yang mendasari pengembang untuk merancang media CBI (Computer Based Instruction) di SMAN 1 Pabelan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan mengggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) sampai dengan tahap tujuh, diperoleh data hasil uji validasi ahli materi, media termasuk sangat baik, dan ahli bahasa termasuk kategori baik. Penilaian juga dilanjutkan dengan menilai hasil angket pada uji perorangan dan uji kelompok besar, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media CBI yang dirancang untuk SMAN 1 Pabelan sudah sesuai untuk pembelajaran narrative teks storytelling. Based on the interview at SMAN 1 Pabelan, the learning model applied by the teacher is still using lectures and used textbooks as the teaching media. Knowing the ability of the students vary, there are some students who are not able to capture the learning objectives well. The attention of the students in reading comprehension especially for narrative text strorytelling is less. This is the underlying of media developers to design a CBI (Computer Based Instruction) model for teaching narrative text story telling at SMAN 1 Pabelan. The research used Research and Development (R & D) method up to stage seventh stage. The data gathered based on the validation test results from the experts showed that the media and the linguists used are good. The assessment also continued to assess the questionnaire on individual test and large group test, the result of the research showed that the CBI media created for SMAN 1 Pabelan is appropriate for teaching narrative text storytelling. |
