Abstract: | Routing protocol dalam teknologi jaringan komputer mengambil peranan penting dalam mengirim data dari komputer pengirim ke komputer penerima. Dalam routing protocol kecepatan pengiriman data sangat diperlukan. Kecepatan pengiriman data ini dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan routing protocol dalam memilih jalur yang terbaik. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh nilai metric. EIGRP merupakan protocol yang dikembangkan oleh CISCO dengan beberapa kelebihan dibandingkan dengan jenis routing lain. EIGRP memiliki nilai metric K yang dapat dikonfigurasi. Penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan kombinasi metric K yang menghasilkan jalur yang terbaik. Routing protocol in computer networking technologies take important role in sending data from the sender’s computer to the recipient’s computer. Data transfer speed in a routing protocol is indispensable. The data transfer speed is affected by the ability of routing protocol while choose the best path. It is influenced by metric value. EIGRP is a protocol developed by CISCO with several advantages compared with other types of routing. EIGRP has a metric value K that can be configured. This research is to get a combination of metric K which result the best path. |
