Perancangan dan Implementasi Aplikasi Bursa Panitia Berbasis Android Menggunakan Teknologi Google Cloud Messaging: studi kasus FTI-UKSW

Abstract

Pendaftaran bursa panitia FTI-UKSWmasih dilakukan melalui pengumuman web FTI-UKSW. Bursa panitia membutuhkan syarat-syaratseperti data diri untuk melengkapi proses pendaftaran. Hal ini menjadi permasalahan karena pengumuman bursa belum bisa diterima langsung ke mahasiswa serta pendaftaran harus dilakukan secara manual. Solusi untuk masalah ini dengan membuat aplikasi berbasis android sebagai media penyebaran informasi serta pendaftaran bursa panitia FTI. Pengguna aplikasi akan menerima push notification dari web server ketika ada pembukaan bursa panitia baru. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi client untuk mahasiswa FTI-UKSW yaitu aplikasi pendaftaran bursa panitia pada platform android berjenis native menggunakan teknologi Google Cloud Message yang bertujuan membantu mahasiswa menerima pengumuman bursa panitia FTI-UKSW secara langsung.

Registration committee exchanges of FTI-SWCU was still done through website announcement of FTI-SWCU. Commite exchange need a terms such as an CV (curriculum vitae) or personal data from each of a college student to complete the regristration process. This become a problem because the exchange committee announcement still can’t received directly to college student and also the regristration still manual. The proposed solution of this problem is to make an android-based application as an announcement sharing media and regristration of committee announcement FTI. Application user will receive a push notification from server when there’s an new committee announcement. This research develop a client application for college student of FTI-SWCU that is committee announcement regristration application on android platform and native using Google Cloud Message technology that purpose to help student receive committee annexchange announcement FTI-SWCY directly.
