Abstract: | Dari perkuliahan pada mata kuliah PLC di FTEK UKSW selama ini, tidak sedikit mahasiswa yang mengerjakan Tugas Rancang mengenai pengontrolan suhu. Namun pada perkuliahan maupun praktikum tidak diajarkan mengenai pengontrolan suhu, sehingga dosen pengampu berpandangan bahwa diperlukan modul praktikum mengenai pengontrolan suhu guna memberikan pengetahuan kepada mahasiswa. Sehingga dalam skripsi ini direalisasikan sebuah modul praktikum pengukuran suhu berbasis PLC.
Secara garis besar, modul yang dirancang terdiri dari bejana berisi air yang diukur temperaturnya menggunakan sensor suhu thermocouple dan PT-100. Untuk mengendalikan temperature di dalam bejana digunakan sistem “ON-OFF” dan system kestabilan menggunakan PID. Pengontrolan system menggunakan PLC Thinget XC3 R-E 60. Modul tersebut dilengkapi dengan HMI Touchwin TP562 sebagai user interface yang digunakan untuk menampilkan grafik perubahan suhu, menampilkan hasil pengukuran suhu, dan mengukur konfigurasi Kp, Ki, Kd, dan DIFF yang digunakan pada sistem PID.
Dari pengujian yang dilakukan, sensor suhu PT-100 mempunyai keunggulan dalam kestabilan disbanding thermocouple. PT-100 mempunyai akurasi pengukuran suhu sebesar ±10C dan thermocouple ±30C. Konfigurasi PID yang terbaik adalah Kp=100 ; Ki=5 ; Kd=600 ; DIFF=150 karena mempunyai rise time yang kecil dan stabil pada set point yang ditentukan. During the lectures of PLC subject in ECE SWCU, some students have the temperature control as their final semester project. Neither in the lectures nor in the practicals, the sutudents weren’t taught about the temperature control, so that the lecturers assume if it’s important to have a practical module about temperature control to give knowledge to the students. So that in this final project will be realized a temperature measurer practical module based on PLC. Basically, the module designed consists of water container whose the temperature is measured by using thermocouple and PT-100 as temperature censor. To control the temperature in the container, it uses the “ON-OFF” system and the stability system by using PID. The control system uses PLC Thinget XC3 R-E 60. This module is equipped with Touchwin TP562 HMI as user interface which is used to display a graph of temperature changes, temperature measurement, and measure the configuration of Kp, Ki, Kd, and DIFF in the PID system. From the tests performed, PT100 temperature sensor has more stability than thermocouple. PT-100 has a temperature measurement accuracy ±10C and thermocouple 30C. The best PID configuration is Kp = 100; Ki = 5; Kd = 600; DIFF = 150 because the rise time is small and stable at a specified set point. |
