Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan Self Regulated Learning pada siswa homeschooling dengan siswa sekolah regular. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah adanya perbedaan Self Regulated Learning pada siswa homeschooling dengan sekolah regular, dimana siswa Homeschooling mempunyai Self Regulated learning lebih tinggi daripada siswa sekolah regular. Sampel berjumlah 104 siswa dengan siswa homeschooling berjumlah 47 dan siswa sekolah regular berjumlah 57. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan purposive sampling. pengumpulan data menggunakan skala BBRD (Belajar Berdasarkan Regulasi Diri) yang disusun berdasarkan tiga komponen yang terdapat pada skala MSLQ yaitu motivasi, metakognitif, dan regulasi belajar (Wolters, dalam Alsa, 2005). Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan Self Regulated learning antara siswa homeschooling dengan siswa sekolah regular. Namun Self Regulated Learning kedua sistem pendidikan berada pada katagori tinggi.
This study want to determine existence of Self Regulated Learning differences in homeschooling students with regular school students, where Homeschooling students have higher Self Regulated learning than regular school students. Sample amounted to 104 students with 47 homeschooling students and 57 regular school students. Techniques of data collection using purposive sampling. Data collection using BBRD scale (Self Based Learning Regulations) compiled based on three components on MSLQ scale that is motivation, metacognitive, and learning regulation (Wolters, in Alsa, 2005). The results showed no difference Self Regulated learning between students homeschooling with regular school students. But the Self Regulated Learning of both education systems is in the high category.
