For drum playing, it is not enough to play the rhythm pattern only. Drummers need to sharpen their sense of playing so that it can be a source of drumming power. Drumming strength is also shown by the emotional interaction between the presenter and the audience through a recital The Power of Drumming , with seven repertoires presented; Overture 1928 (Dream Theater), Strange Dejavu (Dream Theater), The Zone (Dave Weckl), Island Magic (Dave Weckl), War medley No more trouble (Bob Marley), Have fun (Christian), and Spain (Chick Corea). Despite the fact that there are some non-technical problems, the Power of Drumming recital ran satisfactorily. It was held on August 6, 2015 at Faculty of Performing Arts recital hall. The recital was divided into two parts. The first part, three songs were played with minus one format and one song was played with band format. Another three songs were played in the second part with band format. Selection of appropriate repertoire with the ability of the presenters, discipline rehearsal, and knowledge of the music genre being played are the supporting factors in this recital.
