Hubungan antara Regulasi Emosi dengan Perasaan Putus Cinta pada Remaja Kelas 3 di SMA 3 Salatiga

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi emosi dengan perasaan putus cinta pada remaja akhir kelas 12 SMA 3 Salatiga. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan partisipan penelitian berjumlah 60 partisipan, yang berusia 18 tahun dan pernah merasakan perasaan putus cinta dalam waktu minimal 1 minggu. Variabel regulasi emosi diukur dengan menggunakan skala regulasi emosi yang diadaptasi dari Gross (2007), yang berjumlah 30 item, dan variabel perasaan putus cinta Lavie (2003) yang berjumlah 40 item. Analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan diperoleh hasil r= 0,479 dengan signifikansi 0,00 (p<0,01). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara regulasi emosi dengan perasaan putus cinta pada siswa kelas 12 di SMA 3 Salatiga.

The aim of this research is to know the relationship between the regulation of emotion with feeling of love for the 3rd grade students at SMA 3 Salatiga. In this research uses the technique of sampling accidental by involving 60 participants, aged 18 years old and had experience a breakup within at least a week. Variables of emotion regulation is measured by using a scale adapted from Gross (2007), the total are 30 items, and variables of the feeling of breakup from Lavie (2003) are 40 items. The data analysis uses the technique of correlation analysis of Pearson Product Moment and the obtained result is r= (-) 0,230 with the significance of 0,039 (p<0,05). The research shows that there is a significant of negative relationship between the regulation of emotion with the feeling of breakup for the 3rd grade students at SMA 3 Salatiga.
