Abstract

“Konserto Handbell dan Orkes Kamar dalam C Mayor, Op. 1 No. 1” merupakan komposisi musik absolut. Konserto ini terdiri dari tiga movement dengan tempo cepat-lambat-cepat. Selain itu, komposisi ini menggunakan form yang berbeda pada setiap movement. Komposisi “Konserto Handbell dan Orkes Kamar dalam C Mayor, Op. 1 No. 1” disusun dengan format handbells choir dan orkes kamar yang terdiri dari instrumen fluit, klarinet, terompet, trombon, simbal, timpani, handbell, biola, biola alto, cello, dan kontrabas.

The composition of “The Disciple of God”, is a music program which musical idea is based on the Bible, from Matthew 4 : 18 - 20, 8 : 23 - 27 and 28 : 32. This composition collaborates leitmotif and tone painting to describe the symbol and atmosphere from the Bible. It is about Simon, who was a fisherman, than he met Jesus, he followed Jesus and be a fishers of man. Leitmotif is used to describe the symbol in the story which forms a musical that associates with some people, things, ideas or more symbols within the drama or the story itself. This composition is arranged for guitar ensemble.
