Abstract: | Perkembangan teknologi saat ini merambah berbagai sektor, khususnya pendidikan yang telah berubah pola pembelajaran lama ke yang baru. Berdasarkan fenomena ini, penelitian dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kendala dalam pelaksanaan model pembelajaran flipped classroom pada pelajaran Biologi di kelas X. Sampel diambil dari SMAN 1 di Salatiga. Masalah yang ditemukan adalah bahwa siswa SMA di SMAN 1 Salatiga selalu menghabiskan waktu dengan gadgetmereka tapi itu tidak untuk tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Peneliti mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran fliped classroomdikombinasikan dengan pendekatan project based learninguntuk pelajaran Biologi untuk kelas X SMAN 1 Salatiga. Dari pengamatan dan wawancara dengan siswa dan guru, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model ini sangat membantu guru untuk mengajar materi sesuai dengan kurikulum nasional 2013. Kendala penerapan model kelas membalik adalah kurangnya koneksi Internet baik di lingkungan sekolah dan di rumah siswa. The development of today's technology is penetrating various sectors, particularly education that has changed old learning patterns into new ones. Based on this phenomenon, the research is conducted in order to identify the strengths and constraints in the implementation of flipped-classroom learning model during Biology lessons in the 10th grade. The samples are taken from SMAN 1 in Salatiga. The problem thatis found is that the high school students at SMAN 1 Salatiga always spend time with their gadgets but that is not for educational purposes. This study uses an experimental method. The researcher applies the flipped classroom model in combination with project-based learning approach to Biology lessons for 10thgrade of SMAN 1 Salatiga. From the observations and interviews with students and teachers, it can be concluded that this model is very helpful to teachers to teach materials in line with the national curriculum 2013. The constraint of the implementation of the flipped classroom model is the lack of the Internet connectivity both on the school premises and at the students’ home. |
