Abstract: Teknologi jaringan nirkabel merupakan teknologi komunikasi data yang menghubungkan jaringan komputer tanpa menggunakan kabel sebagai media komunikasi. Kinerja jaringan nirkabel terletak pada kondisi fisik seperti jarak, karena semakin lemah radio frekuensi yang diterima akan menjadikan akses ke jaringan semakin lambat, selain itu faktor penghalang berupa tembok tebal (Fresnel Zone) dan gangguan sinyal berdekatan (Interferensi Co-Channel) seperti penumpukan dan pembagian pada channel yang tidak merata bisa menurunkan kualitas sinyal yang diterima pengguna. Dari permasalahan – permasalahan yang terjadi maka kinerja jaringan Wireless LAN di SMK Telekomunikasi Tunas Harapan harus selalu pada performa yang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis jaringan Wireless LAN menggunakan parameter QoS dengan pengukuran Bandwidth, Delay, Packet Loss. Jaringan Wireless LAN pada SMK memiliki Reliability yang cukup, perawatan, dan ketersediaan Hotspot sudah terpenuhi di area kelas praktek. Hasil Uptime total yaitu 612.91 menit dan Downtime total yaitu 37.4 menit dengan hasil availability 94.24%. Ketersediaan perangkat jaringan di SMK Telekomunikasi Tunas Harapan cukup lengkap dan terpenuhi, perawatannya pun tidak terlalu sulit.
Wireless network Technology is a communications technology data that connects computer network without using a wires as a communication media. Wireless network performance depending on physical conditions such as distance, as the for weaker received radio frequency will make access to the network slower, in addition to the Fresnel Zone barrier and adjacent signal disturbance (Co-Channel Interference) such as stacking and sharing on uneven channel can degrade the quality of the signal that the user receives. From the problems that occurred the performance of Wireless LAN network in SMK Telekomunikasi Tunas Harapan that should always be on good performance. This Research was conducted to analyse Wireless LAN Network using QoS parameter with bandwidth measurements, Delay, and Packet loss. Wireless LAN network on SMK have sufficient reliability, maintainability and availability of hotspot already fulfilled in practice class area. Total Uptime result is 612.91 minutes and total downtime is 37.4 minutes with 94.25% availability. The availability of network equipment in SMK Telekomunikasi Tunas Harapan is quite complete and fulfilled, the treatment is not too difficult.
