Abstract: Multimedia as a means of communication has an important role in publishing information to the masses; it is an effective and communicative method especially in the age of high mobility. For that reason, a new form of attractive and interactive communication media is needed. Multimedia can be used to promote an information in many interesting ways. This research was trying to develop a promotion media for Information Technology Faculty UKSW using video mapping technique that were projected at mock-up of Information Technology Faculty UKSW building. By using this technique, multimedia consumer will enjoy a new way of video presentation that they may never experience before. In developing the video, linear strategy method is employed. The method comprises of data gathering phase, data analysis, design, implementation and evaluation, and testing. Contents that are covered in the video ranging from departments profiles, facility, and predominance aspect of the faculty. From the testing phase, result showed that the video mapping was useful as a promotion tool for FTI UKSW. Video mapping can become an alternative choice for promotion in education field.
