Abstract: Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki beragam kebudayaan, salah satunya yaitu rumah joglo. Namun berdasarkan penelitian awal, masih banyak masyarakat indonesia belum mengetahui tentang filosofi dan fungsi struktur rumah joglo. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang rumah joglo tersebut dikarenakan masih minimnya informasi dan keterbatasan jumlah guide yang terdapat di Keraton Solo. Berdasarkan dengan permasalahan yang ada maka diperlukan media informasi video animasi 3D pengenalan rumah adat jawa joglo dengan menggunakan teknik highpoly yang dapat memberikan suatau informasi yang menarik secara visual agar dapat mudah diingat dan dipahami.
Indonesian is a country that has a diverse culture, one of which, namely Joglo House. But based on early research, there are still many Indonesian, even those who live in Java itself are not aware about the philosophy and the structure’s function Joglo House. The lack of knowledge is due to lack of information and limited tour guides that can be found around Keraton Solo. Based on the existing problems, a media in the form of 3D animation, made in the pursuit of introducing Java’s traditional house, namely Joglo is necessary. This 3D animated video is create using a highpoly technique that can provide any information that is visually appealing in order to be easly memorized and understood.
