Abstract: | Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran TIK, kurangnya sarana prasarana komputer dan masih menggunakan metode konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe practice rehearsal pairs dalam proses pembelajaran TIK dapat berdampak pada keaktifan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kombinasi dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Pangudi Luhur Tuntang yang berjumlah 28 siswa.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pembelajaran TIK dengan strategi practice rehearsal pairs dari hasil pengamatan kelas diperoleh 67,58% dan angket tanggapan siswa sebesar 87,17%. Sedangkan, hasil mengenai keaktifan siswa dari hasil pengamatan kelas dari 2 kolaborator sebesar 70% dan 68,46% dan hasil angket tanggapan siswa diperoleh 85,85%. Selain itu, hasil wawancara guru dan siswa kelas VIIIA menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi PRP baik dan berdampak baik terhadap keaktifan siswa. The Problems discussed in this study are that the students are not active in TIK learning process, the lack of computer facilities, and the use of conventional method in TIK learning process. The aim of the study is to know whether the application of active learning strategy using type of practical rehearsal pairs in TIK learning process gives impact on the students’ activeness. The method of the study is mixed methods research, using sample from the VIIIA grade students of SMP Pangudi Luhur, Tuntang. The total is 28 students. The finding show that TIK learning process using practical rehearsal pairs is obtained 67.58% from classroom observation and 87.17% from students’ reactions questionnaire. Whereas, the finding related to the activeness of the student is obtained 70% and 68.46% from classroom observation of two teacher as well as students of VIIIA shows that the application of practical rehearsal pairs strategy is good and has a good impact to students’ activeness. |
