Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi TIK guru bahasa Inggris SMP dan SMA di kota Salatiga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kombinasi dan sampel yang diteliti adalah guru bahasa Inggris SMP dan SMA di kota Salatiga. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statik deskriptif presentase dan pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa literasi komputer guru bahasa Inggris SMP dan SMA di kota Salatiga berkategori baik. Guru mahir mengoperasikan aplikasi untuk tujuan pembelajaran dan kegiatan administrasi. Kompetensi TIK guru yang diukur melalui kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional berkategori baik. Guru dapat memanfaatkan TIK dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas namun guru kurang mahir dalam menguasai media pembelajaran berbasis TIK dan mengembangkan materi.
The aim of this research is to know the ICT competency of English language teachers in Junior High School and Senior High School in Salatiga. The type of research used is combination methods and samples examined are English language teachers in Junior High School and Senior High School in Salatiga. Data analysis using static analysis descriptive percentage and processing data using software help, Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that computer literacy language teachers Junior High School and Senior High School in Salatiga categorized as good. The teacher is adept at operating the application for the purpose of teaching and administrative activities. ICT teacher competence measured through pedagogic competence and professional competence is well categorized. Teachers can make use of ICT in the learning process in the classroom teacher but less adept at mastering the medium of ICT-based learning and developing material.
