Tato sebagai Simbol Identitas Wanita di Komunitas Salatiga Seni Radjah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi dan bentuk tato yang dimiliki wanita di Komunitas Salatiga Seni Radjah sebagai identitas sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Unit analisa adalah persepsi tato yang dimiliki wanita di Komunitas Salatiga Seni Radjah sebagai identitas sosial dan unit amatan adalah responden wanita yang memiliki tato di dalam komunitas seni radjah Salatiga. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara. Teknik analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi tato yang dimiliki wanita di Komunitas Salatiga Seni Radjah sebagai identitas sosial itu berbeda-beda, ada yang mempersepsikan tato sebagai identitas diri sendiri dan juga ada yang menjadikan tato sebagai identitas sosial. Namun persepsi mereka akan tato sebagai identitas soasial yang mana perempuan bertato memiliki persepsi yang kurang baik di masyarakat, mereka tidak menghiraukan hal tersebut. Perempuan bertato di Komunitas Salatiga Seni Radjah menganggap tato adalah seni yang mencerminkan kepribadian diri sendiri.

The unit of analysis is the perception of women-owned tato in Salatiga Community Arts Radjah as sosial identity and the unit of observation is the female respondents who have a tato in the art community Radjah Salatiga. Methods of data collection using interviews. Mechanical qualitative analysis using descriptive statistics. The results showed that women-owned Perception tato in Salatiga Community Arts Radjah as sosial identity is different, there is a tato perceives as one's own identity and also there that makes the tato as a sosial identity. But their perception of tatos as identity soasial which tatoed women have poor perception in the community, they do not ignore it. Tatoed women in Salatiga Community Arts Radjah considers tatoing is an art that reflects the personality of yourself.
