Abstract

In this day and age, sexual life among adolescents have more freedom than before. Although in this day and age scam often happens free sex but actually in Indonesian society still upholds traditional values. Traditional values in sexual behavior that the main thing is not having sex before marriage. This value is reflected in the form of a desire to preserve one's virginity before marriage. Chastity or virginity was closely associated with self-esteem. The decision to have sex with consequences that are not small, especially for girls. Negative feelings such as loss of virginity, shame, guilt, feeling guilty, dirty, scared, worried and another will arise after they have sex before marriage. Based on these considerations, the researchers wanted to see the picture of self-esteem teenage girls who have premarital sex. This type of research used in this study using a qualitative approach. In this study, researchers created a complex picture, examine the words, reports detailed views of respondents and conduct studies on the natural situation. The results of this study found a greater sense of guilt, feeling less able, less feel welcome, feel less valuable, less feel valued by others and difficult to interact with the environment while trying suppressed by the participants with how to create a more positive view of self and sex prenuptial but still affects the daily life.
