Abstract: | On learning activities in the classroom teacher is usually more focused on the delivery of the material, so no more time given to teach students about the scientific process skills and critical thinking. Consequently, there is no sensitizing of the students in creating a sense of curiosity about natural events. Here, the Process skills is a logical step process that consists of 5M. The initial step of the process skills is to observe and ask in KTSP called exploration, this is the first step to be able to do the whole process skills. The purpose of this study was to produce a lesson plan with questions stimulant and to teach students to explore. Method of research is action research, with a design consists of : a planning phase, an implementation phase and a reflection phase. Lesson plan consists of 6 activities, with total duration is 120 minutes. Each activity consists 10 minutes of exploration, 5 minutes for students create questions and 5 minutes to apply stimulant questions. The Observation sheet contains questions that students made. The Respondents were 10 students from 8th grade of junior high school in Salatiga. Moreover, this research is considered as successful if 70% of the respondents could make the correct question which are increasing from the activity 1 until activity 6. Overall from all activities, there were increasing number correct questions by 90% of students. Through stimulant questions students can conduct an exploration of the scientific phenomena until formulate it in the form of a questions. |
