Abstract: | Ditahap konsolidasi siswa perlu dilibatkan secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran dapat mendukungnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat desain media pembelajaran Fun Frame in Physics (FFP) dan menyelidiki efektivitas penggunaan media FFP terhadap pemahaman siswa pada materi cermin cembung melalui turnamen. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Responden penelitian ini adalah 16 siswa SMP kelas IX. Instrumen penelitian meliputi RPP cermin cembung menggunakan FFP, soal pre-test, soal post-test, lembar kuesioner, serta lembar observasi KBM dan aktivitas siswa. Semua data penelitian dianalisa secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil nilai post-test, seluruh siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥70. Berdasarkan hasil lembar kuesioner, 95% siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran FFP. Berdasarkan hasil lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, 82% siswa aktif dalam kegiatan kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil lembar observasi KBM, 81% siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap KBM. Jadi, penggunaan media pembelajaran Fun Frame in Physics efektif membantu siswa dalam memahami materi cermin cembung. In the consolidation, students need to be actively involved in learning. Using learning mediawill support it. The aims of this research are to make a design of learning mediaof Fun Frame in Physics (FFP) and investigate the effectiveness of using media FFP towardsstudents’ understanding about convex mirror through tournament. This is a descriptive research. The respondents are 16 junior high school students of grade IX. The research instruments are lesson plan about a mirror convex using FFP, pre-test, post-test, questionnaire, observation sheets of learning process and students’ activity. All of the data in this research was analysed using descriptive-qualitative methods. Based on the post-test results, all students (100%) get marks higherthan 70. Based on the results of questionnaire, 95% students give a positive response about the use of media learning FFP. Based on the observation sheet of students’ activity, 82% students are active in the group activities. Based on the observation sheetof learning process, 81% of students give a positive response to KBM. Thus, the learning media of Fun Frame in Physics effectively helps students understand the concave mirror. |
