Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana kebijakan pemerintah tentang pendidikan keagamaan bagi aliran kepercayaan di Indonesia, mendeskripsikan fenomena pemenuhan pendidikan keagamaan bagi para penghayat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Komunitas Sedulur Sikep Kecamatan Undaan Kabupaten Kudus, kategori penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melaui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kebijakan pendidikan keagamaan bagi penghayat kepercayaan di Indonesia belum pernah ada, selama ini pemerintah melalui Undang-Undangnya hanya mengatur tentang enam agama resmi yang diakui di Indonesia. Imbas dari UU tersebut sehingga memberikan turunan kepada peraturan lain yang hanya memberikan fasilitas pemenuhan pendidikan agama bagi agama resmi tersebut. Pemenuhan pendidikan keagamaan yang terjadi di Penghayat Samin, atau agama Adam Kudus dikembalikan kepada orang tua masing. Karena pihak sekolah tidak bisa memfasilitasi guru keagamaan yang sesuai dengan keyakinan Sedulur Sikep. Persepsi siswa dan orang tua Sedulur Sikep Kab. Kudus terhadap pemenuhan pendidikan penghayat kepercayaan secara umum mereka menginginkan pendidikan keagamaan dipenuhi sesuai dengan keyakinannya serta dikuatkan dengan dengan paying hukum yang jelas.
The aim of this study are to analyze the government’s policy of religious education for the indigenous belief in Indonesia, describe the phenomenon of compliance to the religious education for the indigenous belief and identify the perspective of parents and students about compliance to the religious education for the instillers of faith. This research was conducted in “Sedulur Sikep Community” in Kecamatan Undaan Kabupaten Kudus. The observation, in-depth interviews, and FGD were employed to collect data needed. The results showed that the policy of compliance to the religious education for the indigenous belief in Indonesia has never existed. Through its legislation, the government has only regulated about six official religions admitted in Indonesia. The laws have the impact on the next laws that gave the facility of the compliance to the religious education only for the official religion. The compliance to the religious education was given back to their own parents (for “Samin” and “Adam Kudus” believers). It was because the school could not fulfill or provide the suitable religious teachers for “Sedulur Sikep” Kudus. Generally, the students for this instilling expected the compliance to their religious education, i.e. “Adam religion. They also expected the clear laws or policy related to the compliance to the religious education for the indigenous belief.
