Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi context, input,
process dan product kepemimpinan partisipatif dalam peningkatan
kompetensi pedagogis guru SMAN 1 Boja. Penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian evaluatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Boja, Kendal. Kepala sekolah,
wakil kepala sekolah dan guru merupakan subjek yang diteliti
dengan kepemimpinan partisipasif dan kompetensi pedagogis
sebagai focus penelitiannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang
digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi dan Focus Group
Discussion. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pada aspek
konteks, kepemimpinan partisipatif diperlukan untuk
meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis guru di SMAN 1 Boja. Pada
aspek input berupa guru, sarana prasarana dan dana sudah
memadai untuk pelaksanaan kepemimpinan partisipatif dalam
peningkatan kompetensi pedagogis guru SMAN 1 Boja. Pada aspek
proses, kepemimpinan partisipatif dalam peningkatan kompetensi
pedagogis guru yang meliputi aktivitas pengambilan keputusan,
aktivitas konsultasi, dan aktivitas pendelegasian wewenang sudah
dilaksanakan dengan memperhatikan prinsip dalam
kepemimpinan partisipatif. Pada aspek produk, kepemimpinan
partisipatif sudah mendukung peningkatan kompetensi pedagogis
guru SMAN 1 Boja dalam hal pengelolaan kelas dan pemberian
motivasi kepada siswa. This research is aimed to evaluate context, input, process and product of participative leadership to improve pedagogic competence of teachers at SMAN 1 Boja. It is evaluative research using qualitative approach done at SMAN 1 Boja, Kendal. Principal, vice principal and teachers are the subject of the research and the focus of the research are participative leadership and teachers’ pedagogic competence. Data collection is done by interview, documentation study and Focus Group Discussion The result of the research shows that the context of participative leadership is needed to improve the teachers’ pedagogic competence. The input of participative leadership in improving teachers’ pedagogic competence covering human resource, facilities and fund is good enough to conduct the participative leadership in improving the teachers’ pedagogic competence. The process of participative leadership in improving teachers’ pedagogic competence which consist of decision making, consultancy and authority delegation activities has been conducted based on the principles of participative leadership. The product of participative leadership has supported the improvement of teachers’ pedagogic competence at SMAN 1 Boja in managing the class and giving motivation to students. |
