Abstract: Guru adalah pendidik profesional dengan tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik pada pendidikan anak usia dini jalur pendidikan formal, pendidikan dasar, dan pendidikan menengah. Kemampuan guru tercermin dalam Kurikulum Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) yang didalamnya berisi penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) tematik bagi Kelas I, II dan III. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu kemampuan guru dalam menyusun RPP tematik pada Kelas I, II dan III di Gugus Kendalisodo Kecamatan Tretep Kabupaten Temanggung. Penelitian dilaksanakan terhadap 15 guru Kelas I, II dan III. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa kemampuan guru dalam menyusun perencanaan mengajar seperti Program Tahunan, Program semester, Silabus RPP tematik pada Gugus Kendalisodo Kecamatan Tretep Kabupaten Temanggung sudah bagus dan perlu dipertahankan. Hal ini terlihat pada tercukupinya semua dokumen perencanaan mengajar seperti Program Tahunan, Program semester, Silabus serta penyusunan RPP kelas rendah atau tematik yang rata-rata kesalahan pada sumber belajar karena belum tertulis buku referensi yang digunakan dan nama penerbit serta halaman yang digunakan.
Teachers are professional educators with the primary task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, train, assess, and evaluate students on early childhood education, formal education, basic education, and secondary education. The ability of teachers is reflected in the Education Unit Curriculum (KTSP), which includes the preparation of Lesson Implementation Plan (RPP) thematic for Class I, II and III. This research aims to find out the ability of teachers in preparing the thematic lesson plan in Class I, II and III in the Kendalisodo teacher’s group Tretep sub district Temanggung regency. The research was conducted against 15 elementary school teachers of Class I, II and III. Results of the study showed that the ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans making lesson plan as like annual program, semester program, syllabus on the thematic Kendalisodo teacher’s group Tretep sub district Temanggung regency is good and should be maintained. This is seen in fullfilled all document lesson plan as like annual program, semester program, syllabus the preparation of thematic RPP average error on a source of learning because they have not written a reference book used and the name of the publisher and the page is used
