Abstract: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluatif yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja Komite Sekolah sebagai badan pemberi pertimbangan (advisory agency), badan pendukung (supporting agency), badan pengontrol (controlling agency) dan Komite Sekolah sebagai badan penghubung (mediator agency) di SD Negeri Sukomarto Jumo Temanggung. Subyek penelitian adalah Komite Sekolah, Kepala Sekolah dan Guru SD Negeri Sukomarto. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik interview (wawancara), observasi (pengamatan), dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memakai teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja Komite Sekolah sebagai badan pemberi pertimbangan (advisory agency), badan pendukung (supporting agency), badan pengontrol (controlling agency) dan badan penghubung (Mediator Agency) di SD Negeri Sukomarto, sudah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan yang diamanatkan dalam Keputusan Mentri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 044/U/2002 Tentang Dewan Pendidikan dan Komite Sekolah. Tetapi kinerja Komite Sekolah sebagai penghubung antara Komite Sekolah dengan Dewan Pendidikan belum bisa dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Disamping itu kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan tidak didokumentasikan sehingga terkesan tidak tertib adminstrasi.
This research is an evaluativeresearch aimed to evaluate the performance of school Committee as an advisory agency, supporting agency, and mediator agency at Sukomarto Elementary School, Jumo, Temanggung. The research subjects are School Committee, Principal of the School, and Teacher of Sukomarto Elementary School. The data collection are interview, observation, and documentation. The analysis of data did by using qualitative analysis technique. The result of research showed if school committee performance as advisory agency, supporting agency, controlling agency, and mediator agency at Sukomarto Elementary School, had reaaly done due to judgedment of national education ministry number 044/u/2002 about educational commite. But the performance of the School Committee as a liaison between the School Committee with the Board of Education can not be implemented to the fullest. Beside, the activity had already done did not document so that looked break the administration.
