Perancangan Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Penyebaran Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) Menggunakan Framework CodeIgniter (CI) dan Google Maps API: Studi Kasus Dinas Kesehatan Kota Salatiga

Abstract

Dengue Fever is a disease that is very disturbing for the public. This disease is very closely linked with the state of the environment around the dwelling. The disease often attack the community in the form of outbreaks and accompanied by a fairly high mortality rate, especially in those aged under 15 years where the number of pain and death are used as indicatos in assessing he results of health development and as a result the number of national agony and death have always been high. Salatiga City Health Office is one agency of public services that provide health information and services in the area of the Cty of Salatiga. The spread of Dengue Fever is one of health information that must be published by the Department of health of the City of Salatiga. The existence of the problem of the disease Dengue Fever in Salatiga, in this study applies the technology of CodeIgniter and Google Maps API to build mapping Dengue Fever. The purpose of it use, because CodeIgniter has providede many libraries that can be used to speed up the cretion of an application. The presence of the Google Maps API and technology used map the Dengue Fever level of casesper village in the town of Salatiga. Outcome mapping can be used by the publc to get information on the area afflicted by outbreaks of dengue fever in the city of Salatiga so that it can serve as a reference for health problems to overcome in its environment independently.
