Abstract: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjelaskan penerapan absensi finger print bagi pegawai non akademik, serta bagaimana disiplin kehadiran pegawai non akademik Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga setelah penerapan absensi finger print. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dimana pengambilan sampel menggunakan kriteria atau karakteristik tertentu. Kriteria pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai non akademik pada lingkungan Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga yang terdiri dari tenaga administrasi dan teknisi, tenaga tata usaha dan laboran, serta tenaga keamanan dan ketertiban kampus, yang memiliki masa kerja lebih dari 1 (satu) tahun. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan absensi finger print pada disiplin kehadiran pegawai non akademik secara rata-rata memiliki penilaian baik, dimana tanggapan pegawai non akademik terhadap penerapan absensi finger print pada institusi masuk dalam kategori baik, penilaian disiplin pegawai non akademik secara rata-rata memiliki penilaian baik, sedangkan penilaian disiplin pegawai non akademik pada rekan kerja secara rata-rata memiliki penilaian cukup.
This study was conducted to explain the application of fingerprint-based presence for non-academic employees, as well as the impact toward the attendance of non-academic employees Satya Wacana Christian University in Salatiga after the application of fingerprint-based presence. The sampling method used purposive sampling, in which the sampling used specific criteria or characteristics. Sampling criteria in this study were non-academic employees of Satya Wacana Christian University in Salatiga consisting of administrators and technicians, administrative and laboratory personnel, as well as securities that have more than 1 (one) year of working period. Analysis technique used in this study is qualitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that the application of fingerprint-based presence on the discipline of non-academic employees attendance, on average, have good judgment. The response of non-academic employees to the adoption of fingerprint-based presence on the institutions lied in good category, while the discipline of non-academic employees, on average, have a good assessment, whereas the disclipine of non-academic employees toward their colleagues, on average, have fair assesment.
