Analisis Pola Persebaran Promosi FTI UKSW untuk Menentukan Lokasi Promosi Terbaik

Abstract

Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana merupakan salah satu fakultas yang memiliki jumlah mahasiswa terbanyak disetiap tahun ajaran baru. Sepanjang tahun 2013-2016 tercatat bahwa terdapat 2393 mahasiswa yang berasal dari 213 kabupaten di Indonesia yang telah mendaftar ulang. Dengan pemilihan lokasi yang masih acak, penentuan lokasi promosi menjadi kurang maksimal dari sisi jumlah mahasiswa yang mendaftar dan biaya yang dibutuhkan. Maka dari itu diperlukan pemetaan lokasi promosi yang tepat untuk dapat mempertahankan jumlah mahasiswa yang akan masuk ke FTI setiap tahunnya dengan menggunakan nearest neighbor analysis dan buffer analysis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu memberikan alternatif pilihan lokasi promosi terbaik bagi biro promosi FTI UKSW dengan analisa pemetaan spasial. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa gambaran titik lokasi promosi dan tabel yang berisi 20 alternatif lokasi promosi terbaik di Indonesia.

The Faculty of Information Technology Satya Wacana Christian University is one of the faculty having most students every new school year. Throughout the year 2013-2016 noted that 2393 students from 213 districts in Indonesia have signed up to. While the selection locations still random, the determination of location promotion become not maximum for the amount of the students who shall register and cost needed. Therefore necessary the right location promotion mapping to maintain the amount of the students who shall register into FTI UKSW using nearest neighbor analysis and buffer analysis. The purpose of this study is providing the best alternative choice of promotion locations for the bureau promotion in FTI UKSW with analysis spatial mapping. The result of this study are the picture of locations promotion and a table that containing the best 20 alternatives promotion place in Indonesia.
