Pengembangan desain dilakukan melalui 8 tahap: 1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sekolah; 2) menspesifikasikan kinerja guru; 3) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru; 4) merumuskan tujuan pelatihan; 5) menetukan kurikulum pelatihan; 6) memilih strategi pelatihan; 7) menentukan sumber pembelajaran; dan 8) melaksanakan pelatihan. This study aims to find out the design of develop thematic integrated instruction training using Critical Events Model (CEM). This type of research is Research and Development (R & D). Subjects involved in this study were 10 teachers grade 4 elementary school. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive technique percentage and Wilcoxon test statistical techniques. The design is done through 8 stages, there are: 1) identifying school needs; 2) specify teacher performance; 3) identify teacher needs; 4) formulate training objectives; 5) determine the training curriculum; 6) select instructional strategies; 7) obtain instructional resources; and 8) conduct training. Based on Wilcoxon test that has been done to the score of pretest and posttest, obtained by Asymp value. one tail of 0.0025 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. This means that pedagogic competence of elementary school teachers in developing thematic integrated instruction after training is higher than before training. This shows that the training design using CEM has proven to be effective in improving teacher pedagogic competence especially in developing thematic integrated instruction. Therefore, it is suggested to the manager of UPT Dikdas LS to carry out training with CEM design. |
