Upaya Penanganan People Smuggling oleh Sekretariat NCB-Interpol Indonesia dan Australian Federal Police Tahun 2015 – 2017

Abstract

People Smuggling is one of the Transnational Organized Crime (TOC) who has undergone rapid development at the moment as well as what happens on the network for the People Smuggling has evolved and often operate there the Asia Pacific region which Australia has become the country of destination of smuggling human beings. It's not just Australia who are victims, but Indonesia is the country which is used as transit of the perpetrators. Based on data which is owned by The Criminal Investigation Agency Indonesian National Police from the 2015-2017 the crime rate People Smuggling has decreased significantly. According to the background, the research on the handling of the People Smuggling by the Secretariat NCB-INTERPOL of Indonesia and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) years 2015-2017 important to do. The purpose of this research is give me a description of handling the effort made by the Secretariat NCB-INTERPOL of Indonesia and Australia Federal Police (AFP) so that the decline in crime rates people smuggling in the 2015-2017. It is an approach that is done in this study was to use the analysis of descriptive. As a result of this research through the efforts of the handling such as Bali Process, bilateral meeting and sharing information has been able to lower the crime “People Smuggling” in the 2015-2017.
