Abstract: Academic Writing is a difficult subject because the content of Academic Writing should be academic topics. Students have to put their ideas to build up arguments. Of course some facilitate will be given by the teacher, such as indirect feedback and direct feedback to help the students solving their challenges. Students’ perceptions of teacher feedback in Academic Writing class will be presented in this paper. The purpose of the study is to show the students’ perceptions of teachers’ feedback. Moreover, an interview with six questions would use along with the participation of six students in Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. The kind of interview that was used in this study is semi-structured interview. This study resulted in three major themes. The first theme was about having grammatical errors corrected. The second theme was about getting good scores because of teacher feedback. The third theme discussed about negative Perceptions toward Teacher Feedback. The result of this study can be used for Academic Writing teacher to know what kind of feedback for the students’ need.
