Sistem Informasi Praktek Kerja Industri Berbasis Website: Studi Kasus SMK N1 Bawen

Abstract

Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin) merupakan kegiatan wajib di SMK N1Bawen yang bertujuan agar teori di sekolah dapat diterapkan di dunia kerja. Kendala yang dihadapi saat ini adalah belum tersedianya sistem untuk pendataan kegiatan prakerin. Kendala dalam kegiatan prakerin sering hilangnya berkas pendaftaran karena dicatat pada kertas.Proses pencarian juga membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Permasalahan ini dapat diatasi dengan dibangunnya sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website yang berguna sebagai wadah dari semua kegiatan prakerin mulai dari penilaian, berkas, weekly report, dan pencatatan lainya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang berguna sebagai sumber informasi dan sebagai wadah dari semua kegiatan prakerin di SMK N1 Bawen.

Industrial Work Practices (Indrustrial Student Practice) is a mandatory activity in Vocational High Scool 1 Bawen, which aims to make theories in schools can be applied in the world of work. The obstacle faced today is the unavailability of system for data collection of prakerin activities. Constraints in prakerin activities are often the loss of registration files as they are recorded on paper work. The search process also takes a long time. This problem can be overcome with the construction of a website-based information system that is useful as a container of all prakerin activities ranging from assessment, file, weekly report, and other records. The results of this research is a web-based application that is useful as a source of information and as a container of all prakerin activities in Vocational High School 1 Bawen.
