Abstract: Penelitian vegetatif dan generatif 10 genotip gandum (Triticum aestivum L.) dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2017 sampai Oktober 2017 di Kelurahan Blotongan, Kecamatan Sidorejo, Kota Salatiga Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang memiliki ketinggian ± 649 m dpl. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penampilan dari 10 genotip atau galur gandum di dataran menengah dan menentukan genotip atau galur gandum yang mampu menghasilkan penampilan terbaik di dataran menengah. Pada penellitian ini, menggunakan RAK dan analisis sidik ragam dengan uji BNJ5%. Perlakuannya adalah berbagai genotip gandum yang berjumlah 10 genotip, yaitu: O/HP-12-A1-1-9, O/HP-78-A22-3-7, O/HP-6-A8-2-10, O/HP-22-A27-1-10, O/HP-92-A1-1-3, O/HP-12-A5-4-5, O/HP-78-A2-5-2, O/HP-82-A15-2-3, O/HP-82-A-15-1-4 dan Guri 5 (sebagai kontrol) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Penampilan vegetatif dan generatif 10 genotip gandum yang ditanam di dataran menengah dengan ketinggian 649 meter dpl berbeda nyata dalam hal persentase benih tumbuh, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, persentase benih bertahan hidup, umur panen dan jumlah spikelet/malai tetapi tidak berbeda nyata dalam hal jumlah anakan, panjang malai, jumlah biji/malai, bobot biji 1x1 m2, bobot biji 4 baris tengah (1x4,5 m2), bobot 1 liter biji, bobot dan 1000 butir biji.; 2). Genotip yang mampu menghasilkan penampilan terbaik di dataran menengah adalah Guri 5. Padahal Guri 5 adalah varietas kontrol, dengan kata lain, belum diperoleh genotip baru yang lebih baik daripada varietas kontrol.; 3). Faktor tekstur tanah, suhu udara, dan kekeringan diduga menjadi faktor penghambat penampilan vegetatif dan hasil dari genotip gandum yang diuji.
The vegetative and generative study of ten genotypes of spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) was conducted from July to October 2017 in Blotongan, Sidorejo District, Salatiga, Central Java, which is about 649 meters above sea level. This study aims to know the appearance of ten genotypes or wheat strains in middle plain determine the genotypes or wheat strains that are able to produce the best appearance in middle plain. This study used RAK and analysis of variance with 5% BNJ test. The treatment was ten various genotypes of wheat. They areO/HP-12-A1-1-9, O/HP-78-A22-3-7, O/HP-6-A8-2-10, O/HP-22-A27-1-10, O/HP-92-A1-1-3, O/HP-12-A5-4-5, O/HP-78-A2-5-2, O/HP-82-A15-2-3, O/HP-82-A-15-1-4 and Guri 5 (as the control) with three-times repetition. The result showed that: 1). The vegetative and generative appearance plantation products of ten genotypes of wheat that were planted in middle plain which is about 649 meters above sea level significantly different in terms of the percentage of seed growing, plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering, percentage of seed survival, harvest age and number of spikelet/panicle but not significantly different in number of tillers, panicle length, number of seeds/panicle, 1x1 m2 seed weight, seed weight of 4 center rows (1x4,5 m2), weight of 1 liter of seeds, weight and 1000 seeds.; 2). Genotypes that was able to produce the best appearance in middle plain was Guri 5 although Guri 5 was the control varieties. In other words, there were no new genotypes which were better than the control varieties.: 3). The land texture, air temperature, and dryness were expected to be the resistance factors of vegetative appearance and the products of the wheat genotypes that were tested.
