Abstract: | Penelitian ini mengenai pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi varietas Ciherang serta jenis hama, patogen penyakit, dan musuh alaminya yang ditanam pada dua waktu tanam yang berbeda (berdasarkan pranata mangsa versus kebiasaan petani) yang dikombinasikan dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo telah dilaksanakan di kecamatan Wirosari, kabupaten Grobogan, provinsi Jawa Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu tanam yang berbeda dikombinasikan dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman padi, hasil tanaman padi, jenis hama, patogen penyakit, dan musuh laminya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Teralur (Strip Plot Design) dengan dua perlakuan utama yang dikombinasikan dengan tiga perlakuan tambahan dan dua puluh ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan meliputi perlakuan vertikal yaitu: waktu tanam berdasarkan pranata mangsa (A1) dan waktu tanam berdasarkan kebiasaan petani (A2). Perlakuan horizontal meliputi: sistem tanam tanpa jajar legowo (B1), dan sistem tanam jajar legowo 6:1 (B2), sistem tanam jajar legowo 4:1 (B3). Hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode sidik ragam (Analysis of Variance) dan Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) waktu tanam berdasarkan pranata mangsa menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil yang berbeda nyata lebih tinggi, dibandingkan dengan waktu tanam berdasarkan kebiasaan petani. (2) waktu tanam berdasarkan pranata mangsa yang dikombinasikan dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo 4:1 menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi relatif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kombinasi perlakuan lainnya.(3) Hama tanaman padi yang ditemukan Nilaparvata lugens Stål, Cnaphalocrosis sp., Scotinophara coarctata F., Scirpophaga spp., Leptocorisa oratorius F., Oxya hyla intricata Stål.(4) Penyakit tanaman padi yang ditemukan adalah penyakit blas yang disebabkan oleh serangan patogen Pyricularia spp.,(5) Musuh alami yang ditemukan adalah Philidipus spp., Agelenopsis spp., Philidipus spp., Adalia bipunctata L., Paederus fuscipes F., Ophionea nigrofasciata Schmidt-Gobel, Sepedon sphegea F., Orthetrum sabina D., Agriocnemis falcifera P.. This research pertained the growth and yield of Ciherang-variety of rice plant as well as it’s pests, disease pathologies and it’s natural enemies which is planted on two different planting times (based on “pranata mangsa” time versus farmers’ habit) combined with “jajar legowo” planting system that has been implemented in Wirosari district, Grobogan regency, Cental Java province. The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of different planting times combining with “jajar legowo” planting system towards the growth and yield of rice plant and it’s pests, it’s disease pathologies and it’s natural enemies. This research used Strip Plot Design with two main treatments combined with three additional treatments and twenty replications. The main treatments were planting time that was based on “pranata mangsa” (A1) and planting time that was based on farmers’ habit (A2). Additional treatments were planting system without “jajar legowo” (B1), planting system with “jajar legowo” 6:1 (B2), planting system with “jajar legowo” 4:1 (B3). Result data were analyzed by using Analysis of Variance and the Honestly Significance Difference (HSD) test at 95% significant level. Result of the research showed that planting times: (1) “pranata mangsa” increased significantly both growth and yield compared with farmers’ habit, (2) “pranata mangsa” that combined with “jajar legowo” 4:1 planting system was relatively higher rice plant’ growth and yield than combined of other planting system, (3) rice plant’ pests that were found were Nilaparvata lugens Stål, Cnaphalocrosis sp., Scotinophara coarctata F., Scirpophaga spp., Leptocorisa oratorius F., Oxya hyla intricata Stål, (4) plant’s diseases that were found were blast disease caused by Pyricularia spp., (5) Natural enemies that were found were Philidipus spp., Agelenopsis spp., Philidipus spp., Adalia bipunctata L., Paederus fuscipes F., Ophionea nigrofasciata Schmidt-Gobel, Sepedon sphegea F., Orthetrum sabina D., and Agriocnemis falcifera P. |
