Abstract: | Gizi merupakan salah satu faktor terpenting untuk mengembangkan kualitas kesehatan manusia, yang merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan pembangunan bangsa. Masalah gizi di Indonesia saat ini disebabkan oleh 4 faktor utama yang perlu ditangani dengan perbaikan gizi, yaitu masalah kurang energi protein, masalah kurang vitamin A, masalah anemia zat gizi dan masalah gangguan akibat kekurangan yodium. Puskesmas adalah fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat yaitu dengan mengutamakan upaya promotif dan preventif untuk mencapai derajat kesehatan masyarakat di wilayah kerjanya. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi keefektifan program pelayanan puskesmas yaitu pelayanan puskesmas yang masih sangat terbatas baik dalam hal tenaga kesehatan yang masih kurang aktif untuk melakukan program promosi kesehatan ke masyarakat, sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengobservasi gambaran program yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Puskesmas Mangunsari Salatiga untuk mencegah/mengatasi gizi buruk dan gizi kurang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, jenis pengambilan data menggunakan kusioner dengan bentuk penyajian data dalam bentuk narasi. Penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Mangunsari di dapatkan 50 responden orangtua balita dengan karakteristik responden adalah orangtua balita yang telah mengikuti program puskesmas lebih dari dua kali. Program pokok yang dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Mangungsari Salatiga untuk mencegah/mengatasi kasus gizi buruk dan gizi kurang adalah pemberian vitamin A dan Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) yaitu berupa pemberian kacang ijo. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program yang dilaksanakan oleh Puskesmas Mangunsari Salatiga untuk mengatasi gizi buruk dan gizi kurang cukup baik. Hal ini terlihat dari tingginya partisipasi orangtua balita mengikuti program yang dilaksanakan oleh Puskesmas serta ketersediaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yaitu dokter, ahli gizi, perawat, bidan, kader posyandu, dan tersedianya sarana dan prasana yang memadai sehingga kasus gizi buruk dan gizi kurang di Puskesmas Mangunsari Salatiga dapat teratasi. Nutrition is one of the most important factors to develop the quality of human health, which is one indicator of the success of nation building. The nutritional problems in Indonesia today are caused by 4 main factors that need to be addressed with nutritional improvement, ie protein energy deficiency problems, less vitamin A problems, nutritional anemia problems and iodine deficiency problems. Puskesmas is a public health service facility that prioritizes on promotive and preventive efforts to achieve public health status in its working area. There are several factors that influence the effectiveness of puskesmas service program, which is the service of puskesmas which is still very limited both in terms of workers who are still less active to carry out health promotion programs to the community, inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Therefore research is conducted to observe the description of the program that has been implemented by the Mangunsari Health Center Salatiga to prevent/overcome malnutrition and under nutrition. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, the type of data retrieval uses questionnaires in the form of presentation of data in narrative form. The research conducted at Mangunsari Community Health Center was obtained by 50 respondents of toddlers with the characteristics of respondents were parents of children under five who had attended the puskesmas program more than twice. The main program implemented at the Mangungsari Health Center Salatiga to prevent/overcome cases of malnutrition and malnutrition is the provision of vitamin A and the provision of supplementary food (PMT), which is in the form of green beans. Data from the research shows that the program carried out by the Mangunsari Health Center Salatiga to deal with malnutrition and malnutrition was quite good. This can be seen from the high participation of parents of children under five following the programs implemented by the Puskesmas and the availability of Human Resources (HR), namely doctors, nutritionists, nurses, midwives, Posyandu cadres, and the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure so that cases of malnutrition and under nutrition are The Mangunsari Health Center Salatiga can be overcome. |
