Abstract: This study adressed the students’ perceptions toward collaborative learning strategy in FLA-UKSW. This study attempted to answer the research question “What are students’ perceptions toward collaborative learning strategy in FLA-UKSW?”. There were fifty participants from each batch for this study. They were asked to complete a questionnaire related to perceptions in using collaborative learning strategy. The finding shows that the students claimed that collaborative learning strategy improved their academic benefits such as better comprehension and improved performance and acquaired generic skill –enhanced communications and problem solving skills. About half of the respondents believe this strategy helped gain their social skills in using collaborative learning strategy. This also explained about negative aspects that came from collaborative learning strategy.The findings of this study shows that collaborative learning strategy made students to become successful in learning activities and this would be beneficial for both students and lecturers.
