Analisis Reliabilitas Jaringan Nirkabel di SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga

Abstract

Jaringan hotspot merupakan salah satu layanan teknologi komunikasi yang dipakai di SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga untuk menciptakan proses pendidikan yang berjalan lebih efisien dan efektif. Namun, jaringan hotspot di SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga memiliki SSID dan DHCP yang berbeda-beda pada tiap-tiap access point yang dapat menyebabkan mobilitas dan reliabilitas kinerja jaringan hotspot berkurang. Untuk menanggapi kondisi tersebut digunakan metode life cycle yang membentuk suatu sistem ke dalam komponenkomponen terpisah yang memiliki tugas masing-masing dan saling berhubungan. Sistem wireless roaming dapat mengintegrasikan access point menjadi kesatuan jaringan wireless serta pembuatan DHCP server pada server hotspot untuk menghindari terjadinya segmentasi IP. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu jaringan hospot yang luas, memiliki pendistribusian IP yang otomatis dan tidak terjadi segmentasi IP. Sistem wireless roaming memberikan kemudahan bagi SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga dalam penggunaan jaringan hotspot.

Hotspot network is one of the communication technology service used by SMAN 2 Salatiga to create more efficient and effective education process. But, hotspot network in SMAN 2 Salatiga have different SSID and DHCP in each access point that cause the mobility and the work reliability of hotspot reduce. In respond to such condition, it is required an life cycle method that form system into separate components. The components has their own task and interconnected. Wireless roaming system can integrate access points into the unity of wireless networks and making of the DHCP server on the server hotspot to avoid IP segmentation. This research produced an extensive of hotspot network, has a automatic distribution of IP, and do not occur segmentation of IP.
