Respon Psikososial dan Strategi Koping Penderita Gout Arthritis di Tomohon

Abstract

Latar belakang: Gout arthritis atau penyakit yang sering disebut penyakit asam urat ialah salah satu penyakit inflamasi/radang sendi yang paling sering ditemukan disamping rheumatoid arthritis dan osteoartrhritis. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi penyakit gout arthritis yaitu faktor sosial budaya seperti orang Minahasa yang kerap kali menyediakan makanan berlemak setiap kali mengadakan ritual-ritual adat. Kota Tomohon menjadi salah satu penyumbang terbanyak kasus penyakit persendian di Sulawesi Utara dengan 1.918 kasus atau 1.9% dari total jumlah penduduk Kota Tomohon. Penyakitgout arthritis ini ialah penyakityang mengganggu kesehatan penderita dengan penampakan tofus pada sistem gerak sehingga, dapat mengganggu aktivitas bahkan kehidupan psikososial penderita.Untuk menghadapi penyakit gout arthritis ini, penderita memerlukan kemampuan untuk mengatasi dan mengolah perubahan yang terjadi akibat penyakit yang di derita.Kemampuan tersebut dikenal dengan strategi koping.Strategi koping ialah upaya khusus baik behavioral maupun psikologis.Tujuan: untuk mendeskripsikan respon psikososial dan strategi koping pada penderita Gout Arthritis di Kota Tomohon. Metode: digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang dianalisa menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penderita memiliki respon psikososial sangat baik sebesar 77,4%, strategi koping yang digunakan sebagian besar problem solving focused coping sebesar 96.8%, uji korelasi spermanp-value 0.198 menyatakan tidak ada hubungan antara respon psikososial dan strategi koping, uji homogenitas sig. 0.98 dan uji normalitas sig. 0.000. Kesimpulan: penderita GA memiliki respon psikososial yang baik, menggunakan stategi koping yang baik dalam encari pemecahan masalah, dan tidak ada hubungan antara respon psikososial dan strategi koping oleh penderita GA di Kota Tomohon.

The ability known as strategy koping.the effort is coping strategy either behavioral or psychological.Aims: this research was to describe the psychosocial response and copping strategies on sufferers of Gout Arthritis in the Tomohon city. Method: The research method used i.e. quantitative research with descriptive type. The technique of data collection is carried out using a questionnaire which is then analyzed using Spearman’s test. Results: Based on the results of the study patients had a very good psychosocial response of 77.4%, coping strategies used by most problem solving focused coping of 96.8%, sperman’s correlation p-value 0.198 stated that there was no relationship between psychosocial responses and coping strategies, test homogeneity of sig. 0.98 and sig normality test. 0,000. Conclusion: pattients GA have good psychosocial responses, use good coping strategies in finding problem solving, and there is no relationship between psychosocial responses and coping strategies by patients GA in Tomohon City.
