Implementasi Steganography Nature of Whitespace (SNOW) Berbasis Desktop Aplication

Abstract

Steganography merupakan salah satu cara pengamanan untuk menyembunyikan informasi dalam informasi lainnya. Steganography Nature Of Whitespace (SNOW) adalah salah satu contoh teknik Steganography yang menggunakan file TXT sebagai media penyembunyian message. Kajian yang dilakukan terhadap teknik SNOW tersebut selain untuk mengetahui cara kerja Steganography SNOW juga bertujuan untuk mengembangkan contoh program steganography SNOW yang telah dibuat oleh Matthew Kwan dengan tipe data lain selain text untuk disembunyikan dalam file TXT diterapkan didalam file DOC, DOCX menjadi file PDF dan juga untuk mengembangkan User Interface dari contoh program steganography SNOW dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman lain. Setelah mengetahui cara kerja Steganography SNOW dilakukan pengembangan aplikasi Steganography SNOW berbasis Desktop Aplication yang dapat menjalankan inputan data dengan tipe file DOC, DOCX dengan outputan file PDF. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dicapai, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa teknik Steganography SNOW dapat menyembunyikan data dengan tipe file DOC, DOCX menjadi file PDF.

Steganography Nature of Whitespace (SNOW) is an example of a Steganography technique that uses TXT files as a message hiding medium. The study carried out on the SNOW technique in addition to knowing how to work Steganography SNOW also aims to develop an example of SNOW steganography program that was created by Matthew Kwan with other types of data besides text to be hidden in the TXT file applied in the DOC file, DOCX into PDF files and also to develop a User Interface from the SNOW steganography program example using another programming language. After learning how to work Steganography SNOW, the application of Steganography SNOW is based on Desktop Application that can run data input with DOC file type, DOCX with PDF file output. Based on the results of the analysis achieved, it can be concluded that the SNOW Steganography technique can hide data with the DOC file type, DOCX becomes a PDF file.
