Perancangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Hotel Berbasis Web Menggunakan PHP 5: Studi Kasus Hotel Pondok Asri Boyolali

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah tamu pada setiap hotel memacu ketersediaan informasi yang ada pada sebuah hotel harus dilakukan secara cepat dan tepat. Informasi yang cepat dan tepat dapat membantu pihak hotel dalam mengelola sistem informasi yang ada serta ketersediaan informasi yang dapat memuaskan keinginan tamu. Hotel Pondok Asri Boyolali menyadari bahwa sistem informasi manajemen hotel merupakan salah satu perangkat kerja yang dapat membantu pihak pengelola dalam menyediakan informasi mengenai ketersediaan kamar, status kamar, dan laporan pendukung yang selama ini masih dilakukan secara konvensional. Perancangan sistem informasi manajemen hotel pada penelitian ini menggunakan PHP 5 dan metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode prototype. Hasil dari perancangan sistem informasi ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat membantu pihak pengelola hotel dalam menyediakan informasi ketersediaan kamar, status kamar, tagihan kamar, serta laporan-laporan pendukung lainnya.

Increasing the number of guests at each hotel spurred the availability of information in a hotel to be done quickly and precisely. Fast and precise information can help the hotel in managing the existing information system and the availability of information that can satisfy the wishes of guests. Hotel Pondok Asri Boyolali realizes that the hotel management information system is one of the work tools that can help the manager in providing information about room availability, room status, and supporting reports which have been carried out conventionally. The design of the hotel management information system in this study uses PHP 5 and system development methods using the prototype method. The results of this information system design show that the system can help the hotel manager in providing information on room availability, room status, room bills, and other supporting reports.
