Abstract: | Berdasarkan hasil penelitian The Programme International Student Assessment pada tahun 2016 menunjukkan kemampuan membaca, berhitung dan pengetahuan sains anak-anak Indonesia masih di bawah negara-negara tetangga seperti Singapura, Malaysia, Vietnam dan Thailand, dengan kata lain budaya literasi di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Berbagai terobosan sudah dilakukan pemerintah dalam meningkatkan budaya Literasi. Salatiga dicanangkan sebagai kota Literasi pada tahun 2016, namun ternyata grafik literasi di Salatiga masih tergolong kecil. Selain karena kurangnya ketersediaan buku, belum adanya media terutama audio visual yang dapat membantu pelajar khusunya anak sekolah dasar untuk memahami pentingnya literasi itu sendiri. Untuk itu penelitian ini membahas mengenai perancangan video kampanye menumbuhkan dan menanamkan budaya literasi dengan teknik sinematik. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dan linier strategi dalam proses perancangannya, Penggunaan teknik sinematik digunakan untuk menyampaikan ide cerita dengan pengambilan gambar seperti kaidah film dan mudah dimengerti. Hasil penelitian berupa video kampanye yang dapat mengajak anak-anak sekolah dasar untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi di kota Salatiga dan mendukung gerakan literasi di seluruh Indonesia. The Programme International Student Assessment research in 2016 shows that Indonesia Children’s are still far away behind compared to its neighbor state like Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand in terms of the ability for reading, counting and science knowledge, in other words Indonesia is still lack of Literacy. The government have already made a various breakthrough to increase the lack of Literacy since then. In 2016, Salatiga have been proclaimed as the city of Literacy, nevertheless the graphic of Literacy shows minor result. Aside from the inadequacy of books, the absence of audiovisual media for helping students especially elementary student to understand the importance of Literacy itself. Therefore, a design of campaign video about growing and instill Literacy with cinematic technique is conducted. Using qualitative method and liner strategy in its design process, cinematic technique being used in order to deliver the main idea with the rules of film making and easily understandable. The result of this research is a campaign video that can be able to persuade the elementary student for growing Literacy in Salatiga and support the literacy throughout Indonesia. |
